Suburban Cloud

Cloud Services for Financial Institutions

Suburban Cloud provides infrastructure for banks, payment service providers, lenders and other regulated financial institutions that require their data to remain in Nigeria and their operations to be fully auditable.

Overview

Financial institutions operate under strict obligations on where customer and transaction data is held, who may access it and how changes are recorded. Suburban Cloud hosts all compute, database, storage and backup services in our Data Centre in Abuja, operated by a Nigerian company.

The platform provides the access controls, audit records and immutable storage that risk, compliance and internal audit teams require. Services are billed in Naira, which keeps infrastructure costs predictable from one period to the next.

How We Support Financial Institutions

Data Held in Nigeria

Workloads, databases, object storage and backups are hosted in Abuja and are not replicated to any foreign region.

Audit Logs

Console and API activity is recorded with the user or API key, the action taken and the time, for review by your audit function.

Access Control

Two-factor authentication, role-based team access and scoped API keys limit each person and system to the access it requires.

Immutable Records

WORM object lock on Object Storage retains statements, KYC documents and logs unaltered for the period you define.

Billing in Naira

Services are invoiced in Naira and may be paid by bank transfer, Naira debit card or monthly corporate invoice.

Technical Support

Our technical support team handles requests submitted through the console, by email and by telephone.

Data Residency and Compliance

Suburban Cloud provides the infrastructure controls. Your compliance programme determines how they apply to your regulatory obligations, and our team will work with your risk and audit functions on the detail.
